Dear Muse
Days have changed into months since we last spoke
My words have decided to go off the beat
And verses are begging for the eureka moment
I thought our bond was stronger than glue
Do you remember when we dined and whined in poetry?
Do you remember those metaphoric moments we shared?
Do you remember how you helped me colour pages with mesmeric rhymes?
What happened to us?
When are we going to adore nature with those immaculate lines again?
I want to write in free flow again
I want to dance with alliteration
And garnish my dessert with rhymes
Dear Muse
I want to fix our cracks
Give one more chance
And I will bleed out poetry
