Fettered Creature
Strewn blessings available to my contemporaries
As I watch in full glare as talents are displayed like jewelry
Maybe a curse was strewn in my direction
Flowers are on full display in neighbouring gardens
While my garden is adorned by weeds
My soil and fertility moving in parallel lines
While my sweat fails to nudge my pocket
Heaps of questions keep tormenting my sanity
Answers running anti clockwise
Thoughts having a barren run in my head
A glance at my abandoned mirror
Fixes my blurry vision
My contemporaries were never magicians
Their thoughts fetched them blessings
While my thoughts fetched me worries
